Traditional Fly Net Crochet Pattern
Debi K's first
venture into crocheting for the equine world. This ever-popular pattern
has sold by the hundreds. Although you can buy fly bonnets for as little
as $5.00, crocheters want them in their Featuring crocheted
ears (most store bought versions are cloth ears) and a delicate
fringe, the bonnet will keep the flies from your horses head and face. |

Elegant Fly Bonnet Crochet Pattern
After many requests from our crochet family, Debi K designed a second fly net pattern. This one more elegant and show worthy. Again with the crocheted ears, this pattern also has a very elegant edging to display your show/barn colours proudly. |

String Fly Net Crochet Pattern
The bright colours of this string fly net are shown well by Debi K's black quarterhorse Mikey. This is a fun project that can be crocheted anywhere. Made of individual strands - you can can be working on a strand almost anywhere. Sew the strands together to the head band and add velcro. Voila! all done! This fly net is particularly well suited for horses when turned out. It moves constantly, keeping those pesky flies away. |

Western Saddle Blanket Crochet Pattern
This pattern is crocheted using back-post double-crochet. It makes for a rippled layer on the outside and flat on the inside for comfort for your horse. Works up fast and easy. Make it in your favourite show colours. For added strength and protection for your horse, you can sew a layer of cotton material or felt to inside. |
