Crochet and Horses, and Wine. Oh My!
Jan 8th, 2009 by Mary Beth Temple

Debi K from Crochet Do Dads was a whole lot of fun! Who knew there was so much crochet to be done for our equine friends and their human buddies! Thanks so much to her for joining us at almost the last minute. I have to admit with my mad TNNA prep I am a little behind on the niceties like booking guests and mailing prizes. Big shout-out to Lopy-ite DC who is here today helping me catch up with organizational chaos – she is the only reason prizes are going out today at all!

Debi K’s web site about her stables is here - WWW.SaturnStablesofStCatharines.com Sadly I am not going to Chain Link in Buffalo this summer, but if I was, I would be heading up there for a ride.

Crochet Patterns for the Equine
Designed by Debi K
A Horse lover designing for horse lo
vers
flynet
Crochet patterns are hard to find for the equine industry. Debi started with a traditional fly net pattern 3 years ago and has been going strong since. The equine patterns now include:
• traditional fly net pattern
• elegant fly bonnet pattern
• string net pattern
• western saddle blanket pattern
• horse and shoe tablecloth pattern
• 4 piece halter cover set
• horse & pony polos pattern
• helmet cover/cozy pattern
• cowboy hat pattern
and a pattern for an english saddle pad will be available shortly.

Unique New Equine Products
As most magazines are always looking for new products to tell their readers about, this is definitely one of them. The patterns are available in two formats: a hard copy, and on-line pdf format for instantaneous purchases. Currently the patterns are avaialbe at our two websites and a unique interactive catalogue is available as well.

The first pattern designed "Traditional Fly Net" has been selling for almost four years. With the added patterns currently available it is now time to market them in a bigger way. We are not only seeking crocheters, but dealers to carry the hard copies of the patterns. We feel they are a strong seller and something new and unique for the horse lover that loves crocheting in their spare time.
